Student safety.
Abule is a school, and keeping students safe is part of how we run it. This page explains how our online spaces are supervised, who works with students, how adults and students communicate, how recordings are handled and how to raise a concern.

1. Our online spaces
Live sessions, clubs and the student community all take place on school platforms. Our student community is part of school, not social media: it isn’t public, only enrolled students, educators and staff can join, and adults moderate every space. That includes student-led clubs and the Abule Discord server, which works only for logged-in student accounts. Student activities run with adult guidance and oversight.
Administrators may review messages in community spaces to keep students safe, as our Privacy Policy explains.
2. Who works with students
All staff are background-checked and personally interviewed before working with students, and their degrees and certificates are verified. Educators, staff and volunteers must be 18 or older, as our Terms of Use set out.
3. How adults and students communicate
- Adults at Abule communicate with students through school accounts and school platforms, not personal phone numbers or personal social media accounts.
- Staff will never ask a student to keep a secret from their family or to move a conversation to a private app.
- Parents and guardians are welcome to contact an educator or the school office with any question about how their student is being taught or treated.
4. Recordings and privacy
Live sessions are recorded for students who can’t attend live. Recordings stay on our course platform for enrolled students and staff. Read our Privacy Policy to learn how we collect, use and protect student information.
5. Reporting a concern
If you are worried about a student’s safety or wellbeing, or about how an adult or another student is behaving, please tell us. Email info@abule.education or call +1 (202) 330-8919. Students can also tell any educator or staff member. We will respond within 2 school days.
If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number first.
6. How we handle concerns
- School leadership reviews every concern that is reported.
- We listen to the student and family, gather the facts and take steps to keep students safe while we look into it. That can include pausing someone’s access to school spaces.
- We share information only with the people who need it to help, or as the law requires, and we report to the appropriate authorities when the law requires it.
- We let the person who raised the concern know when it has been addressed, within the limits of privacy.
