Our Learning Model
At Àbulẹ, we’ve designed an innovative and student-centered educational model that blends flexibility, structure, and community. Our program is grounded in flipped classroom principles, a pedagogical approach that empowers students to take ownership of their learning while still benefiting from real-time instruction, discussion, and support.
Core Components of Our Learning Model
Empowering Autonomy, Fostering Community, and Cultivating College and Career Readiness
🔁 Flipped Classroom Approach
Independent First Exposure
Students are first introduced to material independently through curated online lessons, readings, videos, and multimedia resources.
Live Sessions
After initial exposure, live class sessions are used to reinforce understanding, discuss key ideas, and engage in collaborative learning.
Prepared Engagement
Students arrive at live sessions prepared to ask questions, engage in discussion, and deepen understanding through conversation with peers and instructors.
⏱️ Flexible Learning Paths
Live Classes
Held mostly Monday through Wednesday, with each student typically attending 3–4 hours of live classes per day.
Hybrid Classes
Combine independent study with live discussions and teacher feedback for students needing more flexibility.
Self-Paced Courses
For students who need maximum flexibility, allowing progress on their own timeline while still maintaining academic rigor.
Lecture Access & Review
Live sessions are often recorded and made available for absent students or for review, promoting better note-taking and content retention.
🧑🏾🤝🧑🏽 Socialization & Community
Class Discussions
Students participate in peer dialogues, share insights, build communication skills, and form meaningful relationships across geographic boundaries.
Clubs & Extracurriculars
Student-led clubs and events provide regular opportunities to connect outside the classroom, typically held on Fridays or weekends.
Community Building
Book Club, STEM Club, Student Council, and more optional activities create a vibrant school community.
